Please come out to join in the celebration & hear some more unusual fare from our speakers.

To kick things off we’ll be presenting the Agilist of the Year award, followed by a lightening talk by Llewellyn Falco about a curriculum he has been using to teaching kids programming using TDD.

Our main speaker of the night is Bob Dobson, known to some as Scrum Pig. He’s going to present Measured Team Accountability system that involves having team members rate each other anonymously at the end of each iteration. Highly functional Teams have members with strong accountability to each other. In most business environments, particularly large, heavily regulated companies creating the conditions for accountabilities requires leaders to innovate. An excellent accountability system will have the Team members participate in developing the standards, minimize the opportunities for personalities to effect Team performance, and provide transparent results. By establishing a functional accountability system, Team members loyalty is focused on each other, resulting highly productive and occasionally enjoyable work.

  2. oh too bad cant make it.. sausage and pig talk from one who has single-cloven-hoofedly brought scrum to our large engineering group, and due to results that could not be ignored. Most advice here is sold by people who move on, but Bob is staying and walking the walk. Hey Bob, make it so that scrummers can pick teams like on the playground.
